MONEY ADVICE SERVICE

The Money Advice Service (MAS) was set up by the government, and it offers free and impartial money advice. It was created in April 2010, and was originally known as the Consumer Financial Education Body.
The MAS helps people manage their money. It works in partnership with other companies and organisations to help people make the most of their money. It offers debt advice and support on financial capabilities. The advice, which is free and impartial, is available online in web chats and guides as well as over the phone and face-to-face meetings.
